In terms of Section 36 of the wakf Act, 1995 every wakf shall be registered with the Board. The Board has been doing this work since inception and under this wakf Act also. At yet the Board has got registered 2536 wakf Estate.

Out of 2536 Wakf Estates 50%(fifty percent) of Wakf Estates are registered having no income and remaining 50%(fifty percent) are such which have annual income below one lakh and 3% three (Percent) are such wakfs whose income are one lakh or more.
